This is peak season for gloworms in the 500m long tunnel. They light up the tunnel with an eerie glow. It is an amazing experience. We will meet at Masterton Park opposite the shops in Burringbar about 6-630pm, for an optional picnic, or you can purchase snacks and drinks at The Barn general store in Burringbar.
At 7.00pm we will leave the Park to drive up & park at the Rainforest nursery and walk the 1.5km to the tunnel, and then through the 500m of tunnel, and back. There will be a good moon, rising just after 8pm, so the walk to the tunnel will be in moonlight, but please bring a torch as well.
