This event includes an invigorating hike along Coopers creek into roadless Wanganui gorge. Dense rainforest and tall cliffs. With a low creek at the moment, wear water footwear since we will cross the creek in several places. We will walk past numerous old growth trees and have a snack or lunch on a small creek island-swimming hole. If you wish to jump in bring a towel and swimmers.
Meeting place is at 3 Ways Cafe, so car pool if possible, at 8 am latest.
